BRIEF JANELCO HISTORY:

Janelco started in March 1992 by two business partners Koos Du Venage and George Hockey. 

The business started as a Packaging Material and Plasticware supply shop. Most of their stock was

destroyed after a fire broke out at their warehouse therefore they decided to start

something new and fresh.

In the beginning of 2000 George Hockey left Janelco to start a new business in Potgietersrus. 

So in the late 90’s they slowly started with their new business line which was party accessories and arts & crafts shop. This initiative was started by the heart of this shop, Ansa Du Venage. Who loved being creative and her passion was clearly seen in the numerous people she assisted with school projects, market days, functions and off course brides with their weddings.

She was dearly loved by all the people in the community and they valued her advice and she always went the extra mile for her clients which ultimately became dear friends of hers.  Her bubbly personality has made this shop sparkle for so many years. 

This legacy is now driven, managed & operated by Koos and Ansa's two sons Johan & Jaco along with their

daughter-in-law, Monique Du Venage as a firm local family business in White River.  

In the middle of 2012 they decided to add a new addition to their business known as Janelco Printing where they cater for all your digital printing & signage needs as well as engraving/sandblasting and laser cutting.  This department is run by Johan Du Venage. 

Janelco has been in business for an impressive 21 years and is clearly loved by the community.
